NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Naomi Carman, rising country music artist, will perform the national anthem before the start of the Borchetta Bourbon Music City Grand Prix presented by OnlyBulls, this Sunday, July 19.
At just 23 years old, Carman has quickly emerged as one of country music's most exciting new voices, blending classic country influences with a modern, hook-driven sound. The Cincinnati native has spent more than a decade performing on stages across the country, developing a captivating live presence and a distinctive style rooted in the traditions of legends like Loretta Lynn and Patsy Cline while drawing inspiration from the energy of Elvis Presley and Jerry Lee Lewis.
"We're thrilled to welcome Naomi Carman to the Borchetta Bourbon Music City Grand Prix presented by OnlyBulls," said event president, Anne Fischgrund. "Nashville is known for showcasing exceptional musical talent, and Naomi represents the next generation of country music stars. Her powerful voice and authentic artistry make her the perfect choice to help us kick off one of the most exciting INDYCAR races of the season."
A talented multi-instrumentalist who plays guitar, lap steel, piano, mandolin and drums, Carman recently signed with Big Machine Records and continues to build momentum with a rapidly growing fan base and more than 59,000 followers on Instagram.
"Naomi is a remarkable young talent with a timeless sound and a bright future ahead of her," said Big Machine Founder & Chairman Scott Borchetta. "She's an artist who commands attention the moment she steps onstage, and we're excited for race fans to experience her incredible voice as she performs our national anthem before this year's race."
After years of performing alongside her father, acclaimed rockabilly artist Blair Carman, Naomi has forged her own path, earning recognition for her magnetic stage presence, authentic storytelling and unmistakable vocals. Her growing social media following and national touring schedule continue to introduce new audiences to one of country music's brightest emerging stars.
