Getting Started
INDYCAR takes pride in ensuring the safety and security of its guests. Please review the gate rules and regulations below prior to arriving at Nashville Superspeedway and the Big Machine Music City Grand Prix.
These regulations are subject to updates at any time without notice. Additional restrictions may be imposed by INDYCAR at INDYCAR's sole discretion. These gate regulations also apply to parking and camping areas inside the Nashville Superspeedway gates.
Re-Entry Policy
Guests can exit the facility and return to their vehicles throughout each day. Guests will receive a daily handstamp upon exit so that they may re-enter through the Nashville Superspeedway ticket gates. Ticket and hand stamp must be shown for re-entry.Prohibited Items
The following items are prohibited through Nashville Superspeedway gates:
This list of prohibited items is subject to change without notice. There are no provisions for checking and holding prohibited items. Prohibited items may not be left at or around the gates. Items left unattended will be removed and discarded
Alcohol is not allowed through entry gates
- Bicycles

Camera with detachable lens over 5", selfie sticks, tripods, video cameras

Any other items not mentioned that may pose a safety hazard or diminish the enjoyment of the event by other guests may be refused at the discretion of security and management.
Smoking, including e-cigarettes, vaporizers, or similar products, is only allowed in designated areas.
Permitted Items
The following items are permitted through Nashville Superspeedway gates:
- ONE clear bag or clear backpack, no larger than 18x18x14 inches for headsets, scanners, cameras, binoculars, cold packs, etc. No loose ice permitted.

ONE clutch bag/fanny pack, no larger than 4.5x6.5 inches.
- UNOPENED OR EMPTY water bottle. Insulated cups are permitted. No other outside beverages will be permitted.
Note: Small strollers and canvas wagons are allowed inside Nashville Superspeedway, but they may be subject to additional security checks. It is recommended that any strollers/wagons brought inside the venue be collapsible. Strollers/wagons are NOT allowed in the Nashville Superspeedway grandstands.
Search and Inspection
We reserve the right to search and inspect all persons and items entering the facility. This gate admission policy may change prior to each event based upon local, state or national situations. Smoking, including the use of electronic cigarettes, vaporizers or similar products will not be permitted in the grandstands.Alcohol Policy
Alcohol will be served at designated locations during Big Machine Music City Grand Prix Weekend. For those guests that do consume alcohol, please do so responsibly and be considerate of your fellow fans. Guests must be 21 years old and present a valid photo ID with proof of age when purchasing alcohol at Nashville Superspeedway. The event reserves the right to refuse to serve alcohol to any person, for any reason, and will contact police if a guest is acting in a manner that is contrary to the law or that may endanger themselves, others, or any property. Tennessee Code States Licenses may not allow patrons to bring liquor onto the licensed premises.
