Big Machine Music City Grand Prix

Nashville Superspeedway provides accessible seating, parking, and facilities for individuals with disabilities. Tickets are available for wheelchair-accessible and companion seating in multiple locations at the racetrack for purchase through the Ticket Office. Accessible seating areas have the closest spectator parking and adjacent accessible facilities (restrooms, retail shops, concession stands, etc.). Nashville Superspeedway has vehicles to help our guests who require assistance. The vehicles will assist a disabled guest and one companion to designated areas around the facility. Please contact the Ticket Office at tickets@musiccitygp.com or by calling 866-RACE-TIX between 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (CT) Monday through Friday for further details and ordering information.

Alcohol will be served at designated locations during INDYCAR Race Weekend. For those guests that do consume alcohol, please do so responsibly and be considerate of your fellow fans. Guests must be 21 years old and present a valid photo ID with proof of age when purchasing alcohol at Nashville Superspeedway. The event reserves the right to refuse to serve alcohol to any person, for any reason, and will contact police if a guest is acting in a manner that is contrary to the law or that may endanger themselves, others, or any property. Tennessee Code States Licenses may not allow patrons to bring liquor onto the licensed premises.

Animals are not allowed inside the gates except for service animals providing assistance to an individual with a disability. A service animal is defined by the ADA as a dog that has been individually trained to do work or perform tasks for an individual with a disability. Tasks performed by the dog must be directly related to the person’s disability. Emotional support, therapy, comfort or companion animals that provide comfort by being with a person are NOT qualified by the ADA as service animals.

Fans are encouraged to download the free INDYCAR App Powered by NTT where you can tune into the race communication between drivers and teams live during the race. The app also offers information on each of the drivers and incredible in-car views while the race is occurring.

Individuals should not wear clothing that has inappropriate, abusive messages or images on it. The clothing worn should also offer appropriate body coverage that abides by the public nature of this event. Closed-toe shoes are recommended but not required.

If you need vehicle assistance, you can text your concerns throughout the weekend to 615-903-TEXT (8398). Inside the body of the message, type “ NSSfan + your message” and include your location if necessary.

ONE clear bag or clear backpack, no larger than 18x18x14 inches for headsets, scanners, cameras, binoculars, cold packs, etc. No loose ice permitted. ONE clutch bag/fanny pack, no larger than 4.5x6.5 inches. Please note that UNOPENED OR EMPTY water bottle s are allowed through the gates at Nashville Superspeedway. EMPTY insulated cups are also permitted. No other outside beverages will be permitted.

Camping is a tradition at Nashville Superspeedway and Big Machine Music City Grand Prix will offer a complete camping experience for fans. More information is available on our camping page.

Big Machine Music City Grand Prix will be a cashless event at Nashville Superspeedway. All concessions stands and vendors will only accept digital or card payments during race weekend.

INDYCAR Race Weekend is committed to providing a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable experience for everyone. To accomplish this, we ask all race weekend guests to conduct themselves in an appropriate manner that does not interfere with the enjoyment of others. This Code of Conduct applies to all areas inside and outside the racetrack for the event.

Coolers are not allowed inside the gates of Nashville Superspeedway.

Unmanned aerial vehicles, commonly known as drones and also referred to as remotely piloted aircraft, and similar remote-controlled devices are not permitted through the gates or on Nashville Superspeedway property.

All emergency announcements and instructions will be made over the public address system. Please be attentive of these messages. If you need to report an emergency, locate the nearest guest services representative, security personnel or law enforcement member or text your concerns all weekend to 615-903-TEXT (8398). Inside the body of the message, type “ NSSfan + your message. 

Weapons of any type, including knives, firearms and ammunition are not permitted.

Trained medical personnel will be on site at the first aid stations located on the concourse during open gate hours on race weekend. Specific locations of the first aid stations can be found on the venue map. In case of an emergency, medical personnel will respond immediately. Any guests that need assistance should locate a guest services representative or text your concerns all weekend to 615-903-TEXT (8398). Inside the body of the message, type “ NSSfan + your message.”

Outside food is not allowed through the Nashville Superspeedway gates. Fans are welcome to bring an insulated, empty cup, stainless steel, or similar reusable water bottle. Food and beverage services will operate during open gate hours. Full-service concession stands will be serving a variety of both food and beverage. An assortment of food trucks will be stationed at both ends of the concourse selling signature foods. NOTE: Nashville Superspeedway will operate as a cashless venue for this event. All food/beverage service will be cashless.

Fans can purchase up to 10 tickets online. Groups of 10 or more should contact the Ticket Office by email at tickets@musiccitygp.com or by calling 866-RACE-TIX to review seating options with a ticketing representative.

Neither the NTT INDYCAR SERIES nor INDY NXT presented by Firestone runs in the rain on an oval track like Nashville Superspeedway. If inclement weather forces a cancellation of a specific day’s activities, tickets for that specific day will not be valid on any other date. If the event or any portion of the event is postponed, ticketholders should retain their tickets as they will be honored for gate admission on the postponed date. Suite and hospitality tickets are valid only for the date printed on the ticket and will not be valid for gate admission or grant access to a suite or hospitality area on a postponed date.

Any guests that have lost an item at the track during race weekend should email Lost and Found at info@musiccitygp.com. If you have found a lost item, we encourage you to turn that item in to a ticket booth or guest services representative. After the event has concluded, guests can complete this form to locate their lost item.

A designated mother’s room will be available on property for nursing mothers to use during the event.

Fans that purchase a Paddock Pass will have access to the infield garage area at Nashville Superspeedway to watch your favorite teams work on their cars. Paddock Pass holders will also be able to see NTT INDYCAR SERIES Officials inspect each car before it’s approved for competition!

Guests who have purchased a Paddock Pass can access the garage area by taking the tram from the stop outside turn 3. Garage passes are available for customers of all ages. The minor must be always accompanied by a credentialed parent or legal guardian. A waiver must be signed by a parent or legal guardian. These do not grant access to pit lane.

NOTE: A Parage Pass does not grant access to the venue. Passes need to be purchased as an addition to a valid admission ticket for the day.

The NTT INDYCAR SERIES races during Big Machine Music City Grand Prix will be broadcast live the INDYCAR Radio Network and can be heard through the INDYCAR App Powered by NTT DATA, free to all fans regardless of cellular carrier.

Guests can exit the facility and return to their vehicles throughout each day. Guests will receive a daily handstamp upon exit so that they may re-enter through the Nashville Superspeedway ticket gates.

Recycling receptacles will be located throughout the facility. Fans are encouraged to use the designated receptacles to recycle the appropriate materials.

Permanent restroom facilities and portable toilets will be available throughout the facility for customer use. ADA restrooms and portable toilets are also available.

Camping is a tradition at Nashville Superspeedway and the INDYCAR Race Weekend will offer a complete camping experience for fans. Information on camping for INDYCAR Race Weekend is located.

There are no covered seats at Nashville Superspeedway. Premium Plus seats, located in sections 134-138, are individual stadium-style seats with backs. Smoking, including e-cigarettes, vaporizers, or similar products, is only allowed in designated areas.

Small strollers are allowed inside Nashville Superspeedway , but they may be subject to additional security checks. It is recommended that any strollers brought inside the venue be collapsible. Strollers are NOT allowed in the Nashville Superspeedway grandstands.

Extra wide parking spaces are available for purchase for the serious tailgater. Spaces are reserved, renewable, and owned for the entire weekend. To purchase a space, click here.

  • IF IT FITS, IT’S ALLOWED! We ask that you only bring to your tailgate what can fit in your vehicle. This includes items like portable grills, shade tents and other standard tailgating items (no items in the driving lanes).

  • NO VEHICLE EXTENSIONS! To ensure that each fan enjoys their tailgate and space is equally distributed to our patrons, we ask that no extensions (i.e. trailers) be added to vehicles to carry extra items.

  • SAFETY FIRST! No ground fires in your space. All flags must be 100 feet away from telephone and powerlines. No metal flag poles. PLEASE BE SAFE.

  • BE NEIGHBORLY! Tailgating is a community activity, so be courteous to your neighbor. It makes the experience that much more enjoyable for everyone.

  • CLEAR YOUR AREA! All tailgating accessories (tents, grills, coolers, etc.) must be put up and secured before heading over to the track to enjoy the event.

The Ticket Office at Nashville Superspeedway will be open during race week, days and hours to be determined, for fans to purchase tickets. Any inquiries should be addressed to tickets@musiccitygp.com or by calling 866-RACE-TIX.

All ticket sales are final – no refunds.

Water bottle filling stations and cooling stations will be located throughout the midway for use during race weekend. Fans are welcome to bring an insulated, empty cup, stainless steel, or similar reusable water bottle – maximum size of 64 oz.

Wi -Fi service will be available for use inside the gates of Nashville Superspeedway. Wi-Fi service will not be available in the parking lots and beyond.
