Record Setting 2025 Sets the Stage

Nashville’s own Josef Newgarden captured his first hometown win at the 2025 Borchetta Bourbon Music City Grand Prix, a thrilling race featuring 20 lead changes among 12 drivers and a record setting 284 on track passes, including 130 in the top 10 and 74 in the top five—the most ever recorded in 10 INDYCAR events at Nashville Superspeedway. The race doubled as the season finale, where Alex Palou claimed his fourth Astor Challenge Cup as series champion. In addition, Dennis Hauger celebrated the INDY NXT by Firestone title and Myles Rowe captured the Nashville race.

In addition to the return of Newgarden and Palou, the NTT INDYCAR SERIES returns past Nashville race winners Scott Dixon, Kyle Kirkwood and Marcus Ericsson, as well as international stars Pato O’Ward and Will Power.
